The Frontal Lobe is placed in the most anterior part of the brain.

Some of its main functions are related to motor function, impulse control, language, memory, but also to planning, coordinating, controlling and behaviour. Frontal Lobe is said to play an important part in our spatial orientation and to our ability to appreciate humour. The most important function though has to do with consciousness, meaning the knowledge of what we are doing within our environment.
